My Tone It Up Review
Thinking About Buying Karena and Katrina’s Tone It Up Program? DON’T!
What I found out about Tone It Up might shock you!
Hi there. My name is Cassandra, I’m a single mom of 2 beautiful girls and I’m a full time carer for my father who suffers from alzheimer’s. Life is pretty hectic and I rarely get any time to myself. Because of this, I really struggled to stay in shape.
I would have to say my review is a little different than all the raving Tone It Up reviews everyone else seems to be writing, because my review is a negative tone it up review! Keep reading before you buy ANYTHING!
I wont say I was morbidly obese or anything like that (you can see my before and after pics below), but I have struggled with my weight for most of my life and always wanted to look and feel sexy in my bikini.
I’m almost 37 now and for around 5 years I’ve really struggled to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I think I really started neglecting health when my mom passed away last year. To make things worse my dad became really ill and then was diagnosed with alzheiner’s disease which has been really hard on everyone because it is so sad to see him like this.
With all the bad news and sad events in my life I just stopped caring about myself. I concentrated on looking after my girls, my dad and trying to hold everything together. When my eldest daughter asked me if I was having another baby because my belly was getting so big it really hit me! To be honest I never really noticed how much weight I had gained until she said that 🙁
Thankfully she did say it, because it kind of gave me a kick in the bum to do something about it. That’s why I went in search for a workout and nutrition plan to lose weight. I’m the type of person who needs a good plan to follow, without one…I knew I would fail.
I first found out about Karena and Katrina’s Tone It Up program via a Facebook share and then came across some articles on their story to stardom. It all seemed very hyped up to be honest but it was something I was willing to really think about, plus I liked the idea of the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan.
Everything seemed really good, well, that was until I found out how much it all cost. I was really shocked to find how expensive it all worked out to be, especially all the hidden costs. I know it’s an investment in yourself but when you don’t have a lot of money to invest it really makes it hard plus it is very expensive in my opinion.
The FULL Cost Of Tone It Up!
When something cost this much I really do my homework and research before spending my money. I am really hesitant when I buy stuff online because I have been burnt before so please don’t think I’m paranoid or overreacting when it comes to shopping online.
I searched high and low and found a lot of other Tone It Up reviews but the thing is not many of them went into detail of the costs involved. So, after doing my research here is the TOTAL cost of what you will have to fork out to follow the Tone It Up Nutrition plan + the Tone It Up Workouts and everything else Karena and Katrina recommend.
Cost Of All Recommended Tone It Up Products
- Tone It Up Nutrition Plan = $150
- Tone It Up Premium Workouts = $25
- Tone It Up Perfect Fit Protein Powder = $49
- Beach Babe 1 Workouts = $20
- Beach Babe 2 Workouts = $34
- Beach Babe 3 Workouts = $37
- Exercise Ball – $20
- Plus you will need to buy additional gym equipment like kettle bells, dumbbells, yoga mat and other equipment for some of the workouts = MORE $$$$
To be brutally honest and please don’t think I’m trying to be mean or anything but the workouts I’ve seen really don’t look any different to every other workout program I’ve seen online or have seen in the past? Is it just me or are all these workouts programs the same just different faces?
Call me cheap but I really can’t justify spending all that money on a program especially when I don’t have money like that to spend…
Tone It Up Reviews – What Others Are Saying…
When searching for some feedback and what everyone else thought about Tone It Up, I came across some not so positive comments and reviews. This is what really turned me off. Check out some Tone It Up reviews I found when doing my research –
This Is The Tone it Up Alternative I Follow And It Works!
If you, like me think that Tone It Up is way over priced then I suggest looking at alternatives because there are far better and cheaper programs on the market. In my opinion you are paying for the Tone It Up girls celebrity status which is I guess kind of paying for a very expensive well known brand named handbag or something.
My point is, you definitely do not have to spend a fortune on a workout program, nutrition guide or gym equipment to get into shape. The alternative program I found is almost identical and it actually has a very similar name, it’s called Toned In Ten by Erin Nielsen. I’ve been following Toned In Ten for the past 3 months and I’m so close to reaching my original goal.
The best part is…It only cost $19.
That’s a huge difference compared to what the Tone It Up girls charge. Here is what you get in Toned In Ten.
What’s Included In Toned In Ten
- Follow along instructional workout videos.
- Nutrition Guide.
- Shopping/Grocery List.
- Youthful Secrets Guide – An eBook full of amazing tips on how to stay looking young.
- No Gym Equipment Needed.
Because all the workouts are bodyweight workouts you only use your bodyweight, so you wont need to buy any gym equipment. The only thing I bought is a yoga mat and it only cost me $5.
Tone In Ten Vs Tone It Up – Price Comparison
|Type||Toned In Ten||Tone it Up|
|Beginner Level||Workouts @ $19.00||Beach Babe 1 @ $34|
|Advanced Level||–||Beach Babe 2 @ $37|
|Nutritional Guide||FREE||Additional cost of $150|
|Additional Guides||Youthful Secrets – FREE||Premium Workouts – $20|
As you can see there is a HUGE difference in price, yet you get a lot more bang for your money going the cheaper alternative. I really don’t understand why the Tone It Up Girls have priced their guides so high, it’s crazy expensive…
My Toned In Ten Results So Far..
In the first 2 Weeks after following Toned In Ten I noticed some really big changes and I started feeling good about myself again. In just over 2 months I managed to lose 30lbs, started seeing my abs, plus my cellulite on my butt and thighs had almost completely gone. Now, 42 days in, following the program, I feel absolutely amazing and I’ve lost 30lbs!
Funny thing is, the workouts are actually really fun and only take me 10-15 minutes per day which I can easily fit into my busy day. I do the workouts 5 times per week and the Toned In Ten nutrition guide is very easy to follow. I’m eating lots of yummy foods and never feel hungry. Hey, if I can follow it, anyone can LOL..
I’m really proud of my transformation and I’ve even started dating again which I haven’t done is a long time. I wear my bikini in pride and now when I look in the mirror I feel confident and sexy. Toned In Ten has really changed my life and because it is so easy to follow, it’s now part of my lifestyle.
Erin Nielsen if you ever ready this, I want to say a really big thank you! Without your program I don’t think I would have achieved my results. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
